Paul Walkers Supra is up for sale! Guess how much for?

That’s right, you can own the car that Paul Walker drives in when he races Vin Diesel at the end of the film. Ace.

The auction site, Mecum.com, listed details of the car:
One of the star cars of The Fast and The Furious is the Toyota Supra driven by the late actor Paul Walker, who portrayed undercover police officer Brian O’Connor. Like any movie involving car stunts, more than one version of this car was built, including a “hero” car for close-up scenes and others designed and built to perform the actual stunts. This 1993 Toyota Supra was built for The Fast and The Furious by Eddie Paul at The Shark Shop in El Segundo, California, a 40-year veteran of creating the wildest props, spectacular stunts, special effects, and the most memorable custom and nostalgic vehicles ever to appear onscreen, making them the natural choice to supply cars and stunts for The Fast and Furious. This Supra was featured throughout the movie, including the final race scene between Walker’s character and that of fellow actor Vin Diesel. During the climactic scene, Walker drives this Supra head to head against Diesel’s Dodge Charger in a race to a railroad crossing where both cars jump the tracks just in time to miss an oncoming train and just as the action appears to calm down, Vin Diesel’s character collides with a semi; flipping the Charger over the Supra as it cruises ahead. The car is equipped with a 2JZ-GE 3.0L/220 HP inline-6 engine and 5-speed manual transmission, with power augmented by twin Holley Performance nitrous oxide bottles mounted in the rear compartment (not attached). It has been expertly reinforced to withstand the rigors of stunt work, including heavy-duty suspension, a full roll cage, competition seats and a Jaz Products fuel cell. The Fast and The Furious fans will recognize the car’s Bomex body kit and APR wing, Dazz alloy wheels with Yokohama rubber and wild graphics by Modern Image of San Diego, California. This high-profile movie stunt car is listed in the Redline Productions list with serial numbers of cars that served duty in the filming of The Fast and The Furious.

Rapper Wiz Khalifa’s single See You Again has broken the record for the mostSpotify streams the US in 24 hours, after it was played 4.2m times on Monday 13 April. The song, appearing on the Fast & Furious 7 soundtrack and featuring singer Charlie Puth, also set a new record for the most streams in a single week worldwide, picking up 21.9m listens between 6 April and 12 April.
As a result of its sudden popularity, See You Again sped to the top of the charts in 26 countries including the UK, US, Australia, Hong Kong, Germany, Canada and Switzerland. The single was released on 17 March in the US, 3 April worldwide and 12 April in the UK.

“This is one of those special moments when all the forces have aligned to create a song that is resonating emotionally with millions around the world,” said Atlantic Records CEO and chairman Craig Kallman. “The combination of Wiz’s star power with the introduction of Charlie as a brilliant singer and songwriter is truly magical, striking a nerve with Paul Walker’s legion of fans and the film’s enormous audience.”
See You Again is on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 1Xtra’s C playlists this week, and looks likely to knock Jess Glynne off the top of the singles chart on Monday 20 April. The track’s success follows on from that of recent box-office smash Fast & Furious 7. The song’s vocal hook and video has been considered a tribute to actor Paul Walker, who features posthumously in the film alongside Vin Diesel. Walker died in November 2013, after a car he was in crashed and burst into flames in Los Angeles.

Vin Diesel Dancing on Webcam

Vin Diesel is no stranger to the performing arts and acting. Being involved in theatre productions from an early age through to becoming a big screen star show his dedication and talent. Were now use to the hard man and serious roles diesel has come to adopt in films, so to consider the star shaking his hips and getting low on the dance floor is a definate no right? Wrong! Check out Vin diesel dancing along on his webcam to the song katy Perrys' Dark Horse. Great to see him getting in the groove, maybe a role in Billy Elliot could be more fitting than a future action film role, hey Vin?
